Beachwear History was born with Pin-Up Stars
The american and talented designer, Jerry Tommolini and his team of designers and craftsmen are the creators of the embroideries, decorations, fitting, and take part of the creative experiments that make Pin-Up Stars undoubted trendsetter. Jerry says: "I look around to find the trends for the next collection and I do the opposite''. Nobody ever had been embroidered on a swimsuit before Pin-Up Stars. Decoratives, gems and especially handmade colorful embroideries. A team of ten people creates everyday yarn and colourful inteweavings to make true Jerry's sketchs.
Pin-Up Stars presents the PE2024 collection, a collection with an ethnic and ethical soul, oriented to offer garments and accessories typical of a distant world and dealing, at the same time, with human behavior.
The most important attention has been paid to materials. Prints with strong bold colors are made on a quality Indian cotton that comes from a natural seed that has not been treated with chemicals harmful to the environment and animals. It is an ancient, pure cotton whose seed has undergone neither pesticide treatment nor genetic modification, keeping its natural resources intact. Even the bags are made from recycled and non-polluting materials, no plastic-containing elements.
Intense earthy colors, carmine red, orange, warm brown, and shades of green tones faded to light blues and purples. More geometric, clean prints with a strong ethnic identity, telling the symbolism of tribal culture. A figurative art that expresses its strength in the placed prints depicting the tree of life, a sign of recognition from which everything starts.
